What is a New Years resolution? Too many it’s a chance to make a choice to do or be something different! Yes we shouldn’t need a calendar date to set our goals by but if you do why not make it the beginning of a new year! Share it with the world and make yourself accountable.
Some people choose health, happiness, wealth and more family time. New careers are sought and fitness regimes are high to start a new gym membership or just move more. Their shouldn’t be a note of failure when someone doesn’t complete or conquer their resolution- because we know the hardest part is starting and that we can restart everyday if needed just as the sun comes up every morning.
I believe people should be grateful for the opportunity to choose and decide and not be guilty for failure. Our direction can change at any moment, we seek change often in our live’s, simply by trying something new, meeting new people and buying new things.
My resolution this year is to be more about me.. move more, eat better, sleep better, be a better mother and wife, more home cooking and inspire healthy living around the world. Be mindful and grateful for what I do have and dream for more. But most importantly be real, connect with as many people as possible and enjoy life!!
I will continue to love my sport, show my passion but I am going to guide others to take on my roles around me in transition to make things better and make my time more for me. Not self centred just evaluating the things that hold us back. Some things are necessity and we have to continue with them just like the sun coming up everyday.
